| Bucktv.com, launching
in September, will feature new innovations in web auctioning and product
presentations. The site will feature live interactive online (in real
time) Internet auction rooms, where each room features distinct
categories of products, (e.g., jewelry, tools, sporting equipment,
Household Products, etc.).
Video streaming technology will be used to avoid the need for special
plug-ins to participate in the auction show. According to Bucktv.com,
the new video streaming technology will enable the Internet audience to
watch, listen and ask questions to the show's host, live and in real
time, with very little delay. The company describes the new site as a
combination of the best of static auctions and the television-type
Home Shopping Network.
The next beta test auction on Bucktv.com is scheduled for Saturday,
August 26, 2000. This will be a Jewelry Auction featuring items at a
starting bid of 15% of the retail value.
